I have been in Rome, Paris and London last week for the preparation
of my recent project. We fixed most of our locations and met our local production
teams. The shooting will begin on the 28th July and will take place in several
cities (additional Frankfurt and Munich) in Europe until the 10th august.

After spending a week at the Croisette I am back at work. I got some
very nice projects for the next months, so there are a lot of preperations
to do.

I was directing a FischerAppeltTVMedia production in Rome last week.
Crazy days of shooting in the roman traffic with a lot of interesting artist

I was shooting a tv commercial with Rocking Pix for
their client SOLARHYBRID last week.
Thanks to the great work of our team, we made a beautiful commercial on the
first sunny days in may. Special thanks to Emil and Frieda who really made
a great job! They acted like professionals and gave this ad a very emotional
touch.

AWARD
Two
of my films were victorious at the 24th "Internationale Wirtschaftsfilmtage"
in Vienna.
"MAN / 250 YEARS" (produced by TVT
Creative Media) was awarded with a GOLDEN VICTORIA
in the category corporate.
In the same category DAIMLER / ROAD TO EMISSION-FREE MOBILITY
(produced by FischerAppeltTVmedia) was nominated. This film
was awarded with a SILVER VICTORIA. And that is
how I looked like after the show:

Three tv commercials in february and march.
My holiday trip to Hongkong and Vietnam is over and a lot of projects are
waiting to be shot.
I will shoot a funny tv commercial (produced by VIVAFILM)
in Munich in the end of february.
Meanwhile I have to start the preparations for two tv commercial (produced
by Rocking Pix).
My holiday trip were relaxing, but I am looking forward to shoot films again...

AWARD
"MAN
/ 250 YEARS" wins at the 21. Corporate Media Award 2009. The
film was awarded with the "MASTER OF EXCELLENCE"
by the jury. In addition I got the special award "BEST DIRECTOR".
As if this would not be enough, we were awarded with the "AWARD
FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT".

We made some additional shots for our DAIMLER corporate
film in Finnland last week. It was freezing cold and we didn´t have
much daylight, but instead a lot of fog and snow. From now on, Finnland will
be on the list of my favorite shooting countries on the last place :-(

We were shooting for FischerAppeltTVmedia in Cologne
last week. It was a lot of fun working on the spectactular basketball viral
in the warm late summer sun (in november!). The viral will be uploaded on
several video-platforms in the next weeks.

/ 250 YEARS"
wins
at the 42. Deutschen Wirtschaftsfilmpreis. The award was founded by
the ministry of economics in 1968. It is the
oldest german film award. We won in our category "corporate films"
and the jury awarded our movie as the overall winner of the contest. YEAH!

I was working on thirty DVD films for the cosmetic company Babor
(produced by Rocking Pix). The products are presented by
the popular face designer Peter Schmidinger, who also developed
the new product line. The footage looks nice and everyone is happy. Many thanks
to the hole team and special thanks to Peter, who kept his sunny character
even in the 13th hour of the shooting...;-)

Again an awards for "MAN
/ 250 YEARS" (produced by TVT Creative Media).
We won the sought after GOLD AWARD at the 17th ITVA Festival.
The award show will be held at the EXPONATEC/FINE
ART COLOGNE with a great gala event at the 20th of november in the cristal
room of the Messe Köln.

I did some camera tests with my vintage ARRI IIC on 35mm. The film
was graded by Peter Deinas (huge THANK YOU!!!) at Scanwerk.
The footage was just meant to be a camera test, but in the end it became a
beautiful small shortfilm. Special thanks to Edwin, Nenne and their kids and
Davor for the nice day.

with the SILVER OTTOCAR.
Again a trophy for the corporate film at the world biggest international
film and multimedia festival for the car industry.
The award show will take place at the 17th of september at the 63rd international
automobil trade show in Frankfurt.

OMG. We had neverending rain in Rio and Sao Paulo,
in july, the dryest month of the year. Finally we got after nine days of rain
(!) one sunny day and were able to shoot at least some sunny footage in the
end. Damn!

I was working on a music video for the swiss band Lucas
produced by Rocking Pix. The story is about a female fan
of the group who is stalking on the two Lucas brothers. The video will be

The Daimler corporater film "Mobility
of the Future" is finished. The film became an outstanding piece
of work, thanks to the great cinematography by Pascal Rémond and the

in Stuttgart. After a great shooting day yesterday we are now heading towards
Austria for the last shots. I hope the weather will be nice, then we get some
